Dec. 17, 1936 - June 25, 2011
FERRIS - Helen Marie Greene, 74 of Ferris, went to be with her Lord Saturday,
June 25, 2011 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
Helen was born in Dallas, on Dec. 17, 1936, the daughter of the late Willis Ford
and Adela Mary Sulak Langston.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Karen and husband Randall Lipsey of Rowlett;
three sons Carlos and wife Rhonda Greene of Midlothian, Ron and wife Tena Greene
of Ferris and Wade and wife Robin Greene of Caddo Mills, Texas.
Helen is also survived by a sister Margret Procious of DeSoto; and brother
William Langston of Lancaster.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many
nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Truitt Greene, two sisters,
Fran Nolan, and Mary Ann Scott, and one grandaughter, Madison Lipsey.
Visitation was held at Green Funeral Home, 207 S. Wood Street in Ferris from 6 -
8 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011. Funeral service was held at First Baptist
Church, 304 W. 5th Street in Ferris at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 with
Reverend Darrel Beggs officiating.
