ITALY – Memorial services for Claude Edward "Ned" Hearn were held Tuesday,
Feb. 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Dallas.
Born Jan. 28, 1924 in Italy, the son of J.A. and Lela Hearn, he passed away
Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 in Dallas.
He graduated from Italy High School and was a member of the undefeated and
unscored on 1941 Italy Gladiators’ football team.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian "Lil" Hearn; daughter Karen
Chaffin and husband Jim of McKinney; son Charles Hearn and his wife Marcia of
Houston; grandchildren April Kondrat and husband Jeremy of Plano, Jeffery
Chaffin and wife Brooke of Irving and Nate and Matt Hearn of Houston;
great-grandchildren Emily, Rachel and Ethan Kondrat; and brother Jack Hearn of
Malakoff.
