FERRIS - Kenneth McCrory Jr., 40, of Kaufman, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19,
2011.
Kenneth was born in Greenwood, Miss. on Jan. 10, 1971, the son of the Linda
Beatrice Strickland and Kenneth McCrory Sr.
Kenneth was a Ferris High School graduate in the class of 1989. He was married
to Patricia Marie Tipton on April 26, 2008. Some of his hobbies were
motorcycles, hunting, fishing and welding. He was a member of Local Union #178
and International Union of Operating Engineers. He loved his children, his
family and was a perfect loving husband that God created; Kenneth was a very
passionate person. He will be missed by all the lives he has touched.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Patricia Marie Tipton McCrory of Kaufman; his
dad Kenneth McCrory Sr. of Red Oak; two daughters Ashley and son-in-law Brian
McCrory-Smith of Bristol and Terri Jo McCrory of Red Oak; son Kenneth Lorenzo
McCrory of Bristol; stepson Mason Cole Raymond of Kaufman. Kenneth is also
survived by a brother Tully Russell and his wife Marci McCrory of Ponca City,
Okla., grandmother Fleda Strickland of Greenwood.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Linda Beatrice Strickland McCrory.
Visitation was scheduled from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 at Green
Funeral Home at 207 S. Wood Street in Ferris. A second visitation was scheduled
for 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in
Greenwood, Miss.
Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at Wilson &
Knight Funeral Home. Interment followed at Mt. Pighka Cemetery in Carol County,
Miss.
