AVALON – Celebration of life services for John Miller Copeland were held
Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Directors.
Born May 29, 1933 in Avalon, the son of Clinton M. Copeland and Berniece
Copeland, he passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010.
The family lived in Tulsa, Okla. where he attended elementary and graduated high
school from Oklahoma Military Academy in 1951.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his wife Beverly Merriman
Copeland of Rowlett; sons Curt Copeland and his wife Barbara of Tyler and Craig
Faulkner and wife Stephanie of Dallas; daughters Jill Copeland Womack and
husband Joe of Coppell, Allison Copeland of Irving and Keli Faulkner Lynn and
husband Kevin of Plano; sister Marion Michalove of Forest City, N.C.; seven
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
