WAXAHACHIE – Memorial services for Janis Laverne Mathis, 67, were held Friday,
Nov. 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. in Waxahachie Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 13, 1943 in Waxahachie, the daughter of Raymond Aydelott and Ella
McClain, she passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Mathis; daughter Kim Mathis Schwartz and
husband Jerome; sons Rodney Mathis and Kenny Mathis Jr.; sister Barbara Hopgood;
brother Harvey Hopgood; and one grandchild Corey Mathis. Arrangements were under
the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
