FERRIS - Vivian Bailey Tyler, 95, of Ferris, went to be with the Lord on Monday,
Oct. 11 in Ennis.
Vivian was born on March 6, 1915 in Itasca. She was married on Dec 23, 1935 to
Roland Tyler.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ferris. In
addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Wolsey P,
Margaret S. Washer Bailey and eight siblings.
She survived by one daughter Carol Trees of Red Oak; two sons Roland W. Tyler
and wife Alice of Forney and Gerald B. Tyler and wife Brenda of Ferris; one
brother John Bailey of Hillsboro; grandson Tommy Tyler & wife Sheila of Forney;
two great-grandchildren Casey Tyler , Careston Tyler, and many neices and
nephews.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at Ferris
Memorial Park North in Ferris with Rev. Steve Hamm officating. Green Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
