Aug. 8, 1931 – Sept. 7, 2010
WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for George William Slaughter, 79, were held at
10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at Waxa-hachie Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 8, 1931 in Plainview, the son of John and Maidia Slaughter, he passed
away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 of natural causes in his Bynum, Texas home.
Preceded in death by his parents, son Joe Lynn Slaughter, brother Jimmy Ray
Slaughter and two sisters Imagene Fudge and Johnnie Alma Roberts; he is survived
by daughter Katherine Jean Moore, daughter-in-law Lisa Slaughter; four
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Red Oak Cemetery under the directions of Waxahachie
Funeral Home.
