TxDOT continues I-635 rehabilitation and bridge repair project

FARMERS BRANCH – Weather permitting, The Texas Department of Transportation
(TxDOT) will be closing two right lanes of westbound LBJ Freeway (I-635) from
I-35 to Luna Road at 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 to 5 a.m. the next morning. On
Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 through Friday, March 2, 2012 two left lanes in the same
location will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
These closures are necessary for the safety of motorists and workers during
paving, deck repair and joint sealant operations. Message boards have been
placed to notify motorists in advance of the closures.
TxDOT would like to thank area drivers and local businesses for their continued
patience and cooperation as crews work hard to complete this necessary bridge
repair as soon, and as safely, as possible.
