Ennis to host archery tournament this weekend

ENNIS - Ennis Archery is hosting a "National Archery In Schools Program" archery
tournament this Friday, Feb.10  and Saturday, Feb. 11 at Ennis Jr. High School.
Friday night most of the Ennis kids will be shooting starting around 6 p.m.
Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. there will be kids from Ennis, Flower Mound,
Sherman, Longview, Kaufman, Canton, Edgewood, Rusk, Allen and Dallas
participating.
Including the Friday night flight, Ennis Independent School District will have 8
flights and so far,  312 kids have signed up to participate.
"If you can make it to the tournament it would be a great opportunity to watch
some great archery shooting by kids in 2nd - 12th grade, " stated the district.
It is free to come watch.  Concessions will be available.
The State NASP tournament will be held in Belton on Friday, Feb. 17.
