Monday, Aug. 16
It is so good to be back at work and to see each one of you.
We were sorry to learn that Leon Howland is not well.
Leon take care and hurry back.
I had a wonderful birthday party Saturday.
Thanks to each one of you that came.
Thanks to Virginia January, and Kay and Howard Lee Wickliffe for the beautiful
decoration and making my day perfect.
Javier’s did an excellent job catering.
The food was delicious.
The Senior Citizens Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 for Labor Day.
Sandra White has a new grandson, Levi Jaxon Turrentine born Aug. 13.
Delbert Moore is having eye surgery this morning.
Delbert, take care.
Sue Cummins’ daughter, Sandra Thumb, had an accident and is in the hospital.
Sandra, hurry and get well.
Thanks to Jackie Gaston for the magazines.
We are glad to have Judy Harris back with us.
Wednesday, Aug. 18
We were sorry to learn of the death of Marietta Hurd.
Our condolences to the family.
We had a wonderful birthday party today.
A good time was had by all.
Gary Freeman of Home Instead Senior Care of Lancaster entertained us with
beautiful music and gave us a presentation of what Home Instead had to offer.
Thanks Mr. Freeman for the entertainment.
Thank you to Shirley McLe-Roy for the delicious birthday cake and taking our
blood pressure.
