WAXAHACHIE - Author Clint Townsend, a resident of Blanchard, Okla., will be
available to sign copies of his Action & Adventure novel, "The Folds" on
Saturday, Aug. 21 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Hastings, 791 N. Highway 77 in Waxahachie.
Synopsis: On July 23, 1978, Danny Lee Albright turned ten years old. As a
birthday present, his father, Tommy Lee, surprised him and his four friends with
a trip to meet Superman at the comic book store. Tommy asked the boys, ‘If you
had one wish for a super power, what would it be?’ Danny sat quietly in the
front seat, thinking long and hard. ‘What would you wish for?’ Tommy pushed.
Danny turned to his father and proudly stated, ‘I’d see the future.’ Some
wishes should never come true...
