DESOTO - East Middle School sixth-grade teacher Spelile Rivas will have her
first children's book published in April this year!
The bilingual picture book for children ages 4-8 is titled "No Time for
Monsters."
This entertaining picture book is about a boy's creative attempts to get out of
doing chores. He creates an amusing scenario, his fear of "monsters," to avoid
the troublesome chores, until Mama shows him how working together to complete
tasks can be productive and fun. The book will be published by Pinata Books and
is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
