LANCASTER - The Lancaster 1844 - 1915, the new pictorial history book, is now
available.
Members of the Lancaster Historical Society get a discounted rate of $22 which
includes tax.
Non members retail price is $24 including tax. To purchase the book and have it
mailed the cost is an additional $3.
Members may order books by calling 972-227-4570 or send a check made to the
Lancaster Historical Society at P.O. Box 173, Lancaster, Texas 75146.
Books are available at the Historic Town Square at the retail price. To get your
member discount, books must be bought through the Lancaster Historical Society.
Books may be purchased at the book signings held by editor, Dr. Mary Strain
Sykes, Ph Ed. on Dec. 5 at the Holiday Open House at the Historic MKT Depot- 5
p.m. - 7 p.m.
An additional book signing is scheduled for Dec. 12 - Christmas on Historic Town
Square 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
