The Creative Quilters Guild of Ellis County will host their annual quilt show
July 17 and 18 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Midlothian Conference Center, 1
Community Circle in Midlo-thian.
More than 100 judges quilts, a judged wearable art display, door prizes, silent
auction and a raffle quilt to be given away at 4 p.m.
This years theme is "Christmas in July." Items will be auctioned including "buy
it now" items which will make great Christmas gifts for individuals or yourself.
All proceeds from the sale of these items will go to the North Ellis County
Outreach Center.
This is the sixth year of the quilt show which is held annually on the third
Friday and Saturday of July at the Midl-othian Conference Center.
Entries for the quilt show is open to anyone.
The Creative Quilters Guild is always looking for new members. The Guild is a
non-profit organization of like-minded individuals whose mission is to help the
community in which they live. Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Monday at
Waxahachie Bible Church at 7 p.m. in Waxahachie. Dues for are $20 annually and
$15 for those age 60 and up.
