Maypearl Saturday, March 7 The Texas Independence Day Celebration & Cowboy Gathering The Texas Independence Day Celebration & Cowboy Gathering will be held three miles north of Maypearl off FM 157. Midlothian Saturday, Jan. 31 Rural citizens event potluck supper There will be a rural citizens event potluck supper, cards and dominoes held in the Midlothian Civic Center on Saturday, Jan. 31. The meal will start at 5:30 p.m., an information session will be held at 6:30 p.m., cards and dominoes will begin at 7 p.m. and we will be cleaning up at 11 p.m. Find out whats going on. Saturday, Feb. 21 Mr. & Ms. Red Oak Pageant The Mr. & Mrs. Red Oak Pageant is the largest fundraising event for the Project Success Drug Education Program in our school district. It funds scholarships, supports special projects (ex: "Shattered Dreams" produced by ROHS students) and community drug education forums, to list a few. The pageant will be held at 7 p.m. at the high school. Pre-show events will start at 6 p.m. and the café (pizza, drinks, desserts) will open at 5:45 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students, under four and over 60 is free.
