Ferris
Saturday, Oct. 11
FUMC of Ferris to host Lord's Acre
First United Methodist Church of Ferris will be hosting it's annual Lord's Acre
Harvest Festival and fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be offering
handmade craft items, canned goods, bake shop, a silent and a live auction, as
well as a bounce house for the kids. Barbeque lunch will be served from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m., dine-in or carry-out, $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
Live auction starts at 1:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit missions and
outreach.
Palmer
Every Saturday
The Church at Texas holds concert
The Church at Texas holds a free gospel music concert at Jordan's Crossing arena
from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It is located one mile north of Palmer on I-45 service road
on Pace Rd.
Red Oak
Every Wednesday
Red Oak Public Library holds Story Time
The Red Oak Public Library will hold Story Time every Wednesday of each month
from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Meals-on-Wheels needs volunteers
Meals-on-Wheels needs caring volunteers to help deliver meals to the homebound
elderly in your community. If you or someone you know might be interested in
