The Ellis County Press: A MAAG day out A MAAG day out ================================================================================ Editor on 03/27/2008 01:01:00 The Methodist Active Adult Group, the MAAG, gathered at the Wildflower Café at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12. As everyone joined hands around each table, Darleene Denbow gave the invocation. Then, a delicious chicken spaghetti lunch was enjoyed by all. Hazel Laza, as moderator for the MAAG, opened a brief business meeting. She extended appreciation from the club to Jeanette Houdek, Mary McLelland and those making phone contacts for organizing today's gathering. Concerns were then shared, reports were given and it was requested that Laza make arrangements for this club to make a hospital tour in May. Anyone who enjoys having a good time, good food and great fellowship is welcomed to be a part of this group. On Wednesday, April 9, the MAAG will enjoy an 11:30 a.m. lunch in Memorial Hall of First United Methodist Church.
