On Monday, Aug, 6, local citizens who agree with President Lincoln’s statement
made at the end of his Gettysburg Address; “We here highly resolve that these
dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation, under God, shall have a new
birth of freedom; and that government of the people, by the people, for the
people, shall not perish from the earth.” These 31 citizens meet ing in Ovilla
will set aside Monday evenings for a 12 week course taught by Constitutionalist
Frank Kuchar. He will discuss each Article and Clause of our Constitution and
will explain how these Articles are still relevant today to every American,
whether Republican, Democrat or Independent.  Those attending have the desire to
become better educated and better equipped to defend our constitution and the
freedoms they hold dear for future generations’ sake.  The course will be
offered again in the Spring.
