If you heard excitement and laughter coming from Memorial Hall at First United
Methodist Church of Ennis on Wednesday, Nov. 10, you were hearing the Methodist
Active Adult Group playing games on Game Day.
The day began with coffee and snacks about 10 a.m. and continued with games and
later a salad lunch.
A business meeting completed the activities of the day. Members left for home
with wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving for everyone and thoughts of December and
Christmas on the way.
The MAAG will celebrate Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 8 with a covered dish lunch
at 11:30 a.m. in Memorial Hall of the FUMC.
They will be entertained by Kristi Copeland as she shares her beautiful talent
on the harp.
You are invited to bring a favorite dish and a special friend to join in this
Christmas celebration.
