MIDLOTHIAN - Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Stephen J. Cox graduated from
basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in
military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and
basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in
applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the brother of Michelle Cox of Mount Juliet, Tenn. and son of Gerda Cox of
Midlothian.
Cox is a 2006 graduate of Wilson Central High School in Lebanon, Tenn.
