WAXAHACHIE - Two local residents were arrested Friday, July 23 on child
pornography charges.
Bethanie and Gregory Lipowski, both 27, are each currently being held on a
$100,000 bond at the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.
Dallas County Police Department Investigators tipped off Amy Ellison of the
Ellis County Sheriff's Office when someone with the Photobucket account name
CASS_3E3E_89 had uploaded 12 images of child pornography on Thursday, Feb.25
linked to a Waxahachie address.
On Monday, May 3, 40th District Court Judge Gene Knize signed a search warrant
to be executed on the 1200 block of Gibson Road.
According to documents obtained from the Ellis County Sheriff's Office, Bethanie
was present during the execution of the search warrant and was interviewed about
her connection to this matter but, she was not under arrest.
Lipowski did admit to downloading multiple images of child pornography which
were saved to her personal laptop computers hard drive at the time as well as
the owner of the PhotoBucket account and a Yahoo! account with the user name
"Donfckwitmah" via the internet connection assigned to her residence.
Several computer items were seized during the execution including an HP Pavilion
laptop Lipowski said was soley used by her to be submitted to the North Texas
Regional Computer Forensics Labatory.
The results of the forensic computer exam came back with numerous images and
videos found of child pornography saved to the computer's hard drive in folders
created by Lipowski.
Lipowski was found to be committing the offense of promotion of child
pornography on Feb. 25 when she transmitted visual material depicting a child
under the age of 18 engaging in acts of sexual conduct via the internet.
Promotion of Child Pornography is a second degree felony.
Gregory Lipowski was charged with possession with intent to promote child
pornography.
