Northbound Lanes of Interstate 45 To Be Closed

Beginning Sunday night the northbound lanes from MLK to Bryan St. will close
DALLAS - All northbound mainlanes of I-45 (Spur 345) between Martin Luther King,
Jr. Boulevard and Bryan Street will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan.
17, 2010 through 5 a.m. the following morning. This will continue nightly
through Friday, Jan. 22, 2010.
This area of I-45 consists of the bridges over I-30 in downtown Dallas. This
closure is necessary to facilitate routine repair of guardrails and bridge
sub-structure. Northbound traffic will be detoured to I-30 where it will
continue to the next exit to make a U-turn, re-enter I-30 and take the exit to
I-45 north.
Message boards have been in place to inform the public of the closures and
detour signs will be set up.
