EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF U.S. 175 WESTBOUND  IN KAUFMAN
KAUFMAN - The westbound lanes  of U.S. 175 at King's Creek are closed due to
bridge construction  until further notice.
Traffic will be detoured onto  the frontage road west of S.H. 243 and vehicles
will be able to re-enter  the highway at the next entrance past the bridge.
This bridge project is a rehabilitation  project to replace the bridge and the
approaches at King's Creek.  East Texas Bridge, Inc. is the contractor on the
$3.5 million project.
The project is expected to be complete by October 2012.
