84-year-old man found Missing from Williamson County

ITALY - John Davis, 84, missing since Monday, Nov. 9 was found in downtown
Italy.
The Williamson County Sheriffs Office, located near Austin, sent a teletype to
the Ellis County Sheriffs Office informing them of a missing man in the area.
According to ECSO reports, a deputy was dispatched to the area of L.R. Campbell
Road to try to locate a missing person out of Williamson County.
Police scanner conversations overheard there were two officers working in Italy,
one working traffic stops and the other at a meeting in city hall but a deputy
from the Reagor Springs area found the missing man.
"I was out in the county looking per request by the sheriff's department, one of
my officers was meeting with a vendor at 10 a.m. and the other was on the
streets,"said Italy Police Chief C.V.Johns.
Also responding were several members of Milford PD and state troopers.
An investigator located Davis alert and coherent and was released by Det.
Delvega, Williamson County.
