Moved to the newly established 432nd court on Oct.1, the case is still pending and no action was taken on Oct. 5 due to the courts replacement. The 432nd court was approved by Tarrant County Commissioners on Sept. 9 with Gov. Rick Perry appointing Ruben Gonzalez Jr. as presiding judge effective Oct.1. Fry was arrested and bailed out on a $750 bond for claims of reported assault at a Fort Worth Mexican food restaurant in April of last year. According to legal sources, waiting a year on the felony docket in Tarrant County isn't unusual and new courts tend to get the cases the other courts want to be rid of. When contacted, Fry confirmed he has no plans to resign.
