"This will not affect the residents, unless they buy something in Garrett...It won't be a lot of money now, but as business' start coming in then the income will go up," said Fea-therston. The city's current tax rate is $0.32 ,making it the second lowest taxed city in the county after Pecan Hill, currently set at $0.30 per $100.
