The city of Glenn Heights' burn ban on all outside open burning is still in
effect through Oct. 15.
According to the city,"with the low humidity, high winds and drought conditions
it has become a tender box."
Burn permits will not be issued during this ban for any reason. The maximum fine
for the violation of the burn ban in the City of Glenn Heights is $2,000.
