This year's National Night Out event is scheduled for Aug. 4 from 7-9 p.m.
Crime watch groups, Home Owners Associations and neighborhood groups are
encouraged to come outside their homes that evening and join together for a show
of community support.
NNO is the nations largest annual crime and drug prevention event and promotes
"neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships" in the fight against a
safer neighborhood.
Remember, activities do not have to be limited to hosting vigils, activities can
also include block parties, cookouts, flashlight walks, contests or other
programs you see fit.

organizational kits.
