Waxahachie - A 4-1 vote Monday night passed the resolution supporting local
option fees and taxes to fund transportation including Rail North Texas.
John Wray was the lone opposing vote.
"There was no specific amounts discussed at this time," said City Secretary Lori
Saunders.
Rail North Texas is part of a huge railway expansion project with the North
Central Texas Council of Governments working to connect Dallas with other cities
for easier traffic flow while increasing and adding more fees to residents who
just want to keep it local.
