LITTLE ELM- Ellis County District Clerk employee  Corynne Turnpaugh,61, was
killed in an automobile accident on Christmas day in Little Elm,Texas.
Turnpaugh, a resident of Maypearl who was driving an Oldsmobile, was said to be
turning left on Savannah Boulevard heading east on U.S. 380 when she failed to
yield the right-of-way and was hit by an incoming 06 Nissan Pathfinder,
according to reports.
At the scene, Turnpaugh was taken by CareFlite to Parkland Hospital where she
was pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation.
