The Ellis County Press
FERRIS - Public works director Charlie Joe James, accepted an award during the
Monday, Dec. 15, council meeting from the Texas Commission on Environmental
Quality.
The TCEQ 208 Public Drinking Water Recognition award for Exceptional compliance
was given.
To become a recipient of this award, the city's water system must not have any
violations and be an active public water system for 60 consecutive months.
At this time, TCEQ is recognizing outstanding performance for the past five
years from 2003-2007.
