BARDWELL - After weeks of deliberation, Clinton Ivy was appointed to the vacant
council seat on Monday, Dec. 8.
The three-member council had been short one member after the September death of
Mayor P.W. "Jinker" Gentry.
Ivy's appointment becomes official with a swearing-in ceremony on Monday, Dec.
15, the same night that Bardwell's municipal court convenes after a two-year
hiatus.
