Sister and nieces remember Leland Wickliffe, Ferris, one of the many Ellis
county soldiers remembered on the World War II granite wall, part of the Ellis
county veterans memorial, located on the north side of Waxahachie Civic Center.
His sister, Nelda Wickliffe Morris, Cleburne, (right rear) and three nieces,
Linda Wickliffe Wheatley, Waxahachie, (front right), Judy Wickliffe Borders,
Richardson, (left rear), and Phyllis Doubek, Waxahachie, (left front), attended
the Veterans Appreciation Day ceremonies, remembering Leland's great sacrifice.
