Emergency Services District No. 5 commissioners the arrival of the CareFlite
ambulancewith a free cookout at the fire station on Ewing Street in Ferris
Monday, Nov. 10. More than 50 people met with commissioners. CareFlite CEO Jim
Schwartz was on hand to sign up residents of ESD No. 5, one of nine appointed
such entities in the county. First responders served a wide array of hotdogs and
hamburgers.
