Ellis County- Residents are concerned about people making repeated calls
claiming to be from Global Medical asking for their Social Security number and
bank account information.
"
I told them no I wouldn't give them my information this weekend so a guy this
time called today," said a local reader who wishes to remain anonymous.
Another reader was really worried they would start calling other elderly people
and they might not know what's going on.
"I've been called multiple times. Either a man or female and the claim they want
to give me a global health card."
They have been reported as saying their names are Herold Shepard and Carolyn
Smith and all claims say they could possibly be of hispanic decent.
