Joe Barton Family Foundation announced the grand opening of the Boys and Girls
Club of Navarro County's new facility. With assistance from the Joe Barton
Family Foundation and local donors, the Boys and Girls Club of Navarro County
officially opened the doors to their new building on May 17 in Corsicana. The
Joe Barton Family Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Navarro County
joined together in late 2005 to create a plan to build a new facility to house
the after-school programs for the Boys and Girls Club. The vision was a 10,000
square foot building which would provide a safe place for children to learn and
play.
