It was determined after three recounts he lost his position on city council. When confronted about last Saturday nights returns Greenlee simply stated, "There is nothing to say. The newspaper got what it wanted, to slander and alter the election. When the truth is finally printed, I'll start picking up the paper again." Penny told the ECP that while he appreciated the effort and desire to those who were unsuccsessful in this campaign he is looking forward to serving the next two years with Jeff and Tony. "I was gratified citizens voted for a change. Now, I can vote for what the majority of the citizens want to help our crumbling infrastructure here in Palmer." Roybal reports he is most looking forward to "getting into the groove by checking on what the city of Palmer is doing and working on as of now so I may try to see to it that the things I would like to work on get started as well."
