Franchising in Texas is big business.  According to the International Franchise
Association, Texas is the second largest franchising state with 59,291
franchised businesses.  Texas franchises employ 756,568 people with a yearly
payroll over $17 billion and an economic output of $48 billion.
The franchise industry is exploding with growth.  With over 5,000 franchise
opportunities in 80 different industries, it becomes very difficult to make the
right choice.  The purpose of this seminar is to educate and inform attendees
about today's business climate, the exploding franchise industry, niche
opportunities, master franchises, and more!
This franchise seminar is open to the public and free to attend.  Seminar is on
Wednesday, April 30 from 12 - 1 p.m.at the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce
Conference Room.

This seminar will be presented by Anne Barr, franchise consultant and business
broker with more than 26 years experience in sales and marketing, six years as a
franchisee.

in career change, transition and exit strategy. She holds the designation of
Certified Franchise Executive from the International Franchise Association,
Certified Business Intermediary from the International Business Brokers
Association and Board Certified Broker from the Texas Association of Business
Brokers.
Anne is active in professional organizations, networking groups and volunteers
for non-profit entities. As owner/operator of four successful businesses, Anne
has proven people skills and enjoys helping clients find the right "fit" in
business ownership.
