The Ellis County Press: Chocolate anyone? Chocolate anyone? ================================================================================ Editor on 02/14/2008 00:00:00 _If you can imagine it, draw it, photograph it, or dream it..._ PATRICK GREEN _The Ellis County Press_ When it comes to a family affair, the Bair's family-owned chocolate company, My Chocolate Company, definitely ranks high on the charts. Bill, along with wife Shannon, daughter Sierra, 13 and son Colton, 7, operates a fun, yet profitable business. Since the company began in June of 2007, the Bairs have created chocolate delights for several large entities including Southern Methodist University, Paragon and Innovative Ideas. If the order includes putting a photo on the chocolate, the picture is first put into a program where touch-ups and backgrounds can be fixed. The picture is then set into the printer that sets the colors, which are basic food coloring. The end result is a completely edible masterpiece. 'You don't have to have a photo to place an order though,' said Bill. Special messages, poems, or even a person's name can be placed on a variety of personalized gifts. The Bairs receive many orders for weddings, bar mitzvahs and other social events. Learn more about the Bairs and their company on Channel 8, Friday, Feb. 8.
