WAXAHACHIE - A Waxahachie man was arrested Tuesday, April 3 on charges of
aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child.
Billy Joe Freeman turned himself in to Waxahachie Police after warrants were
issued for his arrest.
Freeman was charged with sexually assaulting young relatives between the ages of
eight and 13.
Precinct 2 Judge Jackie Miller Jr handled Freeman's arraignment and set his bond
at $20,000 for the charge of aggravated sexual assault and $1,500 for each of
the two counts of indecency with a child.
Freeman bonded out of jail and was not currently under house arrest.
All attempts to contact Freeman were unsuccessful.
