_Early voting begins April 30_
ELLIS COUNTY - The deadline for signing up to join in the running for city
councils has come and gone and those who signed up will soon begin campaigning
for citizens' votes. Early voting will begin in local municipalities on April
30. Polling information can be obtained from each town's city secretary. Pecan
Hill, Wilmer and Ovilla have only received applications from incumbents, so it
was possible each of those cities would not hold elections this year. Each will
decide in an upcoming city council meeting.
Those cities still participating in the election process are listed below with
the individuals who have chosen to run for office.
