March 12 is deadline to sign up to run for local election

ELLIS COUNTY - Those who have had aspirations about becoming city council or
school board members have only seven days left to sign up to run for local
offices.
Some of the men and women now in office have opted not to run for office again
and several cities were in need of people to sign up to run for these positions.
The last day to apply for a spot is March 12.
Recent sign-ups and places up for election this year are listed below:
