Danny Williams of the Ellis County Sheriff's Department said. 'The investigation led to the arrest of these two individuals and continues into drug trafficking.' Waxahachie Police Sgt. Brad Doughty said an undercover investigation led to the couple's arrest. 'They violated some traffic laws and the officers pulled them over at the request of the undercover officers,' Doughty said. Pamela Spross was an employee in the Ellis County District Clerk's office. It was unknown as of press time if she was still employed by the county because District Clerk Billie Fuller was unable to be reached for comment. Both were charged with a felony possession of a controlled substance and given a $20,000 bond, but Pamela had bonded out by late Tuesday afternoon. Williams and Doughty said they did not know how much or what type of drugs were found on the couple during the arrest.
