Nov. 12 is deadline for voters to correct their addresses

ELLIS COUNTY - Wanna vote? Be sure to send in your address changes.
New voter registration cards will be sent out to registered voters during the
first week of December.
Residents who have moved and did not change their address with the Ellis County
Elections Administration office will not receive their new cards, unless they
contact the elections office in writing.
Jane Anderson, Ellis County elections administrator, said the law states the
post office must return any undeliverable cards, due to the voter moving.
'Voters can use the area on the back of their voter card for making a change or
write a brief letter,' Anderson stated.
'A signature is required in order to make a change to a voter record.'
Residents who need to change their name or address on their voter cards must
connect the elections office by Nov. 12 to have their information revised before
the cards are mailed out.
