Sifuentes, 19, was found in front of his home Saturday, March 8 dead from an apparent suicide. He succumbed to injuries resulting from an apparent self-inflected gunshot wound. Sifuentes was employed by the Wal-Mart Super Center in Ennis since December 2002 as a full-time produce sales associate. At Navarro College, he was in his final year pursuing a criminal justice Associate degree. As part of his degree he was completing an internship with the Ennis Police Department. Sifuentes was a straight-arrow type of young man according to Kent Durham, Ennis Wal-Mart assistant store manager. 'He was a good kid, wonderful kid, never any ounce of problems,' said Durham. Ennis Police Chief Dale Holt said Brandon was a very nice and intelligent young man. It is not understood at this time why Sifuentes allegedly took his own life. According to police, the case is still under investigation. Sifuentes was a 2001 graduate of Ennis High School. He became a father to Hanna Marie Sifuentes in December 2002. In his passing, he leaves Hanna Marie Sifuentes, a young infant daughter; Joe and Brenda Shelton Sifuentes, father and mother; Ryan Tyler Sifuentes, brother, and Crystal Wachsman, a close friend, all of Ennis. He was laid to rest at Saint Josephs Cemetery in Ennis, Tuesday, March 11.
