Fatal crash occurs in Hutchins

HUTCHINS - Gary Thomas Speirs II, 30, an off-duty Cockrell Hill volunteer
fire-fighter who lived in Grand Prairie, was killed at approximately 2 a.m.
Sunday, March 9 after the vehicle he was driving struck a sign in the vicinity
of Interstate 45 and Dowdy Ferry Road.
Dallas County Sheriff's Department was investigating the cause of the crash.
