Red Oak set to get traffic light near Eastridge Elementary

RED OAK - Traffic lights will dot the intersection of three new locations,
according to Mayor Todd Little.
'The traffic light at [FM] 342 and FM 2377 is currently under construction and
should be operational within a week,' Little said.
'The light at Methodist [and] Ovilla [Roads] will not be placed until the roads
have been realigned to be parallel together.'
Little said a light will also be erected at the intersection of Cole and Ovilla
Roads, near Eastridge Elementary.
'I had a staff member contact TxDOT [Texas Dept. of Transportation] yesterday,'
Little said. 'TxDOT stated the contract had already been letted for the Cole
Road traffic light and construction will begin on or around Dec. 14.'
