Ronald Cody, 48, and Vanessa Bean, 39, were arrested at about 7 p.m. at the Royal Inn Motel, located at 1750 N. Beckley Rd. According to Lancaster police, the department received a tip from a Lancaster resident from a room at the motel. Both Lancaster police and agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration's Clandestine Lab Unit entered a second-floor room. According to reports, officers found lab equipment and chemicals that were used to make the illegal drugs. The discovery of the equipment led officials to a second room, where they found $3,000 worth of amphetamine, two pistols, and computers used to make fake driver's licenses and insurance cards. Police said other charges could be filed against the two suspects.
