Man breaks up brawl, Is accused of assault

RED OAK -- Sandra Grubbs, 31, accused Carl Webb, 42, of assaulting her on the
parking lot of the Happy Days nightclub. In a report filed July 20 with the
Ellis County Sheriff´s Office, Grubbs alleged Webb, an employee of the club,
grabbed her by the hair and slammed her face into the ground three times.
Reportedly, Grubbs was fighting with another woman over Grubbs´ boyfriend when
Webb intervened to break up the fight. Webb told investigators it was necessary
to hold Grubbs on the ground so the other woman could leave.
