Ellis County Sheriff Office Explorers ranked first place at the Harris County
Constable Competition this past December in the following categories: Crisis
Negotiation, Crime Scene Investigation, Misdemeanor Traffic Stop and Bomb Threat
Response. Representing the office were 16 explorers divided into four teams with
seven advisors.
